ALUMNI STORIES - KRISTEN WITHAM PARKE

Kristen Witham Parke is a 2015 graduate of Union University with a B.A. in Ceramics and a minor in professional education. Upon graduation, Kristen accepted a teaching position for visual art at Lockeland Design Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She strives to find the balance between teaching and making and continues to create functional ceramics work in addition to teaching. Kristen began making work in a home studio but has recently transitioned her studio into the Make Nashville maker space where she is the co-captain of the ceramics studio.
