THE UNION UNIVERSITY ART GALLERY
The University Art Gallery is one of our most important teaching resources. Each year exhibits of local, state, national and internationally recognized visiting artists are carefully chosen to instruct and challenge those in the visual arts as well as the general community. A unique opportunity is afforded students to and the public to meet the artists at opening receptions and artist's lectures. The gallery is located in the Pennick Academic Complex, 1050 Union University Dr., Jackson, TN.
THE hyran E. barefoot GALLERY
The Hyran Barefoot Gallery located in Barefoot's Joe Coffee shop hosts alumni and local artists from across the region. The space is contemporary and used by the general campus.

This gallery space is located on the third floor of the Logos on the campus of Union University. It features regional and national artists in the rotunda space.
THE FITTS COLLECTION OF PRE-COLUMBIAN ART
The Fitts Collection of Pre-columbian Art is housed in the university library.
The Fitts Collection of Pre-Columbian Art contains over 100 items illustrating the decorative arts of various South American cultures from late BC to period of European arrival. The general time frame for these materials is 300 BC to 1534 AD. Identifiable cultural groups represented in this collection include the Vicus, Nazca, Mochica, Lambayeque, Chancay, Chimu, and Inca. The majority of the items in this collection are ceramics of household and ceremonial use. Other items include several fabric items, surgical knives, and a copper funerary mask. This collection was acquired by the University as a gift in 2008 from Marvin Fitts who collected most of the items while serving as a missionary in Peru. Several items in the collection were given to him by his friend and fellow missionary Roy Chamlee. The collection’s authenticity has been verified by the independent review of Dr. Christina A. Conlee, Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Texas State University-San Marcos; Rod T. Rogers, Accredited Senior Appraiser in Pre-Columbian Antiquities, and Marshall Leigh Fallwell, Jr., Accredited Senior Appraiser in Antiques and Decorative Arts.
